Here’s exactly how our process works, what to expect, and how to get started with boutique physical therapy.

Step 1: Learn How Our Care Is Different

We’re a boutique, primarily cash-based physical therapy clinic. That means you get one-on-one, 60-minute visits with a Doctor of Physical Therapy — and your plan is built around your goals, not insurance limitations.

If you’ve ever felt rushed, unheard, or confused in previous PT experiences, this model was designed with you in mind.

Quick Highlights

  • 60-minute, one-on-one sessions

  • Direct access — no referral required in Oregon

  • Clear, upfront pricing

  • Personalized plans for your life and goals

Step 3: Understand Pricing & Insurance

We keep billing simple and transparent. As a cash-based clinic, we set our rates based on the time and expertise involved in your care — not what an insurance company will pay.

You pay at the time of service, and if you’d like, we can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement (when applicable).

Quick Financial Snapshot

  • Clear, upfront rates

  • No surprise bills or statements months later

  • Superbills available upon request

  • Payment plans available for pay-as-you-go visits

Step 2: See If We’re a Good Fit for Your Needs

We help active adults, athletes, and everyday movers who want to understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery.

Common Reasons People Come In

  • Knee, shoulder, hip, or back pain

  • Running or lifting injuries

  • Post-surgical rehab (ACL, joint replacement, rotator cuff, and more)

  • Recurring aches that haven’t fully improved elsewhere

Step 4: What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first appointment is a 60-minute evaluation designed to understand you as a person — not just a diagnosis.

  1. Conversation & History
We’ll talk about your story, your symptoms, your goals, and what you’ve tried so far.

  2. Movement & Strength Assessment
We’ll assess how you move, your strength, mobility, and any relevant tests for your condition or sport.

  3. Initial Treatment
You won’t just be “evaluated” — we’ll begin treatment and introduce exercises or strategies right away.

  4. Clear Plan & Next Steps
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what’s going on and a plan for how we’ll address it together.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in (athletic wear is great), and feel free to bring any imaging reports or referral notes if you have them — but they’re not required to get started.

Step 5: Take the First Step

If this sounds like the kind of care you’ve been looking for, we’d be honored to be part of your team.
